Building a small kitchen
in a basement

Project descriptions:

Location: Waterloo
Fall 2019
Output: A 65 sq-ft Kitchen
The project consisted of the followings:

1. Designing the area according to the customers’ criteria.
2. Duct work includes adding an air register and pushing back the upstairs register’s duct to the ceiling to make more room
3. Plumbing includes pushing back pipes to the wall and adding a water pipe and a drain for the kitchen sink
4. Wiring to add receptacles for refrigerator, microwave and two receptacles on top of the countertop
5. Framing
6. Drywall installation and tape and mud
7. Painting the walls, ceiling and the door
8. Installations of cabinets, countertop, sink, electrical outlets and switch, and pot lights
